Hurricane Harvey – BCF Flood Preparation

Mark Troutman, Corey Johnson and Merle Bowler have secured the outside tables so they (tables) will ideally not float away in high water and elevated things in the clubhouse and concession storage areas as best as possible to mitigate flood damage. The PC has been removed. Next Club Meeting – October 7, 2017

The next meeting is Saturday October 7th at 10am. It is believed the clubhouse sustained significant flood damage due to Hurricane Harvey so the venue of the meeting has yet-to-be determined. Please sign-in when you arrive. New members are encouraged to attend and introduce yourselves to the rest of the gang. New Photos

Clubhouse Improvements – February 2017

BCF members have completed the installation of a ramp to/from the emergency exit door of the clubhouse. Pictures of the ramp can be seen by clicking on the Media page then Photos then selecting DSMA Powered RC area and scrolling to the last row of images. Work on the interior of the clubhouse continues. Cabinets have been installed on the “west” wall and a new refrigerator was installed adjacent to the cabinets. BCF club officer changes for 2017 have been incorporated in the Members & Membership pages of the website. Some minor updates remain including the “Contact Us” feature which enables users to send emails to a pick-list of club officers and others.

The Bayou City Flyers RC club 2017 Membership Application is available to new members and renewing members in serval places within this website. Everyone can access the application via the sidebar in the “About”, “Safety & Field Rules” and “Members & Membership” pages.
